Outwardly Creative: Second Event Recap
Our second Outwardly Creative event brought fresh energy to Helm Gallery, with another amazing evening of connection, creativity, and community.
This time, we were joined by award-winning animator Kate Jessop, who gave a brilliant keynote exploring storytelling, identity, and queer representation through animation. Her talk was insightful, funny, and deeply inspiring.
We also had a fantastic creative encounter with Brighton’s own Dave Pop!, whose bold, fairground-style signage added a playful and hands-on element to the night. Guests watched as Dave Pop! created custom artwork featuring their names and chosen words, bringing his vibrant, fairground-inspired style to life right before their eyes.
Once again, the room was filled with LGBTQIA+ creatives and allies sharing ideas, building networks, and celebrating each other’s work. We’re so proud to keep growing this space—and we can’t wait for the next one!
Stay tuned for Event Three.
